So Much More

Judith Durham

Rating: 4.5 / 5

Singer Judith Durham deserves that over-used term “Australian icon”.

Now 75, she has released this delightful compilation of never-before-released tracks she has recorded over the years, with a stable of eminent musicians as her collaborators. Names such as  Keith Potger and Athol Guy from her days with The Seekers, Mark Holden, and her late husband, pianist Ron Edgeworth.

Judith is both composer and performer on every track, from the 1967 gem ‘So Much More’ to the spiritual tracks ‘Time Has Come to Part, ‘Follow Me’ and the deeply-moving ‘Anchor of My Life’. There are also fun, upbeat tracks including ‘We’re Back Together Again’ and ‘Come On Over to Our House’, making this album a wonderful musical journey through the life and 55-year career of a true Australian superstar.
