Nagaland is one of the smallest states in India, and author Ben Doherty gives a fascinating insight into the many myths, stories and culture of its people and lands.
The rich ethos and history of Nagaland clash with the modern world and, to some extent, with Christianity. However, Ben weaves a fascinating story of Augustine and his family whose world is pulled apart by drugs, values and other aspects of the modern world in which they live, whilst at the same time drawing us into an endearing love story.
I was moved by joy, sadness, anger, compassion and other emotions as I read this story of how these very different worlds collided culturally and racially.
