The Four Tendencies
Gretchen Rubin
Rating: 3.5 / 5

The Four Tendencies is yet another book on personality profiles so I ask this question—how is it going to differ from all the other books, quizzes and resources available on the topic? The answer is that I don’t think it does, but it might make more sense to some than others.

Rubin does a great job in detailing how these four areas depict how we respond to expectations and she has good insight for those who have those tendencies or who work with others who have them.

Knowledge and awareness are the keys, so take the test and see where you sit. Are you an Upholder, Obliger, Questioner or Rebel? Check it out and see if it works for you. And just in case you’re wondering where this reviewer fits into the four tendencies, I am an obliger!
