Likeable English TV chef Jamie Oliver is being creative with just five ingredients in each recipe in this attractive new coffee table cookbook.
Oliver says all the dishes can be on the table quickly and he claims that, except for the sweet treats, 70% of the recipes are healthy, which he proves by including a handy table of nutrition elements with each recipe.
Oliver’s aim is to give us instant inspiration, and the book certainly achieves this. You won’t take to every recipe in the book, but there are plenty that you will want to try.
My only reservation is that some ingredients referred to are English ones, for which we Aussies have different terms, but negotiate that minor problem and there is lots of fun to be had with this attractive new book from our happy chappy chef.
