Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Finding a DVD series that can be enjoyed by several generations isn’t easy, but Signed, Sealed, Delivered fits the bill.
It’s a combination of romance, comedy and drama, and follows four US postal service workers from the Dead Letter Office. They are detectives with a nose for solving the destinations of impossible letters just addressed to people like Grandma.
Their varied missions range from using redirected letters to reunite old loves, to saving lives and solving crimes. It’s Miss Marple meets Murder She Wrote but without the bodies, and it works.
Led by the charming but stitched up Oliver (Eric Mabius), keen computer brain Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth) and two lovable eccentrics, Rita Haywith (Crystal Lowe) with a formidable photographic memory and the nerdy Norman Dorman (Geoff Gustafson) who is a whizz with the phone book and other old-fashioned methods, Signed, Sealed, Delivered soon hooks the viewer into their sleuthing adventures.
